As a core member of the team, you will help define the era of autonomous construction.This is a rare opportunity to:Work on hard, meaningful problems that impact the future of infrastructure and energy.Collaborate with a world-class team from NASA, SpaceX, Google, Built Robotics, and others.Rapidly grow, learn, and lead within a quickly scaling company.ResponsibilitiesOwn hardware components and systems such as the high voltage system, low voltage system, custom HV batteries, embedded systems, PCB assemblies, and harnessesFull product lifecycle ownership from requirements collection, trade studies, preliminary and detailed design, development, and overseeing manufacturing, integration, testing, and customer deliveryWork with manufacturing, mechanical, software, and product engineers to develop innovative new solutions to complex interdisciplinary problemsWork with vendors and suppliers to find creative solutions to tight deadlinesSet milestones, plan roadmaps, and deliver on ambitious timelinesRecruit, mentor, and build a world-class engineering organizationRequirements3+ years of professional engineering experienceExcellent first-principles understanding of analog and digital circuit design and circuit analysis and simulationExpert electrical design skills using software such as Altium designerStrong programming skills in Python or C++Superb failure analysis and electrical system troubleshooting skillsExperience designing or developing high voltage vehicle electrical systems including familiarity with high voltage batteries and power electronics as well as HV safety standards and componentsExcellent communication and project management skillsThrive in fast-paced environments and push boundaries to meet deadlinesBonus5+ years of professional engineering experience in electrical design or developmentManagement and recruiting experience
