Global brands like Hubspot, Microsoft, Uber and Nestle use Outset to achieve deeper, qualitative insights about their users at unprecedented speed and scale.The research industry is massive (>$140B and growing) and ripe for disruption. Incumbents are outdated, slow, and burdened by high-cost services. That's our opportunity.Outset is backed by top Silicon Valley investors and raised a $30M Series B in December 2025—less than six months after our Series A—led by Radical Ventures with participation from M12 (Microsoft’s venture arm), 8VC, Y Combinator, and Adverb Ventures. The raise follows a breakout year, with our business growing 8x as enterprise customers across industries adopt our category, AI‑moderated research, as the new standard for understanding people. We’re a tight-knit team serving some of the world’s largest enterprisesThis role sits at the intersection of brand and marketing - you'll be the primary creative force behind how Outset shows up in the world, from paid campaigns to launch moments to the content our prospects see every day. You'll work closely with the marketing team day-to-day.ResponsibilitiesOwn visual design for marketing campaigns, landing pages, social content, email, and eventsBe the day-to-day creative partner for the marketing team - turning briefs into polished, on-brand assets fastMaintain and evolve the Outset brand system across all marketing touch pointsDesign pitch decks, sales collateral, and customer-facing materialsCollaborate with content and demand gen on creative direction for paid and organic channelsSupport product launches and feature announcements with marketing creativeContribute to the visual language of new product launches and feature announcementsWork with product design for cohesive brand vision across all touch pointsQualifications2–4 years of brand or graphic design experience, ideally with a strong marketing portfolioStartup experience owning projects 0-1Proven ability to move quickly and produce high-quality assets across digital, print, and social formatsExperience in Figma; building with AI toolsExperience in web development basics, with the assistance of AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, etc.)Proficiency in updating and maintaining marketing website infrastructureStrong eye for typography, hierarchy, and layout — you sweat the detailsComfortable working in a fast-moving environment where priorities shiftMotion design or video editing (After Effects, Lottie)Experience building or maintaining a brand/design system
