We partner with both Medicaid and commercial health insurance plans to make it easier for doulas to accept health insurance without the administrative burden.Loula offers full-service support for Medicaid enrollment, credentialing, insurance verification, medical billing, and payment to doulas in California. By taking on the operational complexity, Loula empowers doulas to focus on what matters most: delivering exceptional care.We believe every birthing person deserves access to high-quality doula support, not just those who can afford to pay out of pocket. Handled: We manage insurance verification, billing, and payment so you can spend your time with clients, not paperwork.You're not alone: Join a network of experienced doulas with access to shared resources, community, and ongoing support.🛠 Minimum QualificationsYou'll need one of the following:Completed 16 hours of birth doula training AND attended 3 births as a doula, OR5 years of experience as a doula, with 3 letters of recommendationYou'll also need:Adult and infant CPR trainingHIPAA trainingLiability insuranceIf you don't yet have CPR training, HIPAA training, liability insurance, or the letters of recommendation, you can still reach out!
