GTM Recruiter

Location: San Francisco, CAType: Full-TimeWork Arrangement: In-person 5 days a week at our SF office About FlaiAI has transformed B2B SaaS, but has struggled to penetrate the real-world industries that shape our lives. Flai is building the leading AI-native communications platform for car dealerships.A $1.3 trillion industry, auto dealerships sell 96% of the 16 million new cars sold each year. Yet they universally run on outdated systems and manual processes, which is why dealerships spend $36B each year on operations. That's our opportunity. We launched our first voice AI product a year ago. Since then, we have deployed multiple products across hundreds of dealerships across the U.S. We've partnered with the 2nd largest automaker in the country and many of the leading dealership groups. We've raised funding from leading VCs including First Round Capital, Toyota Ventures, Y Combinator, Innovation Endeavors, SV Angel, and Liquid 2.We've grown insanely quickly with a small, scrappy team and continue to move at that pace. The OpportunityEvery great company is built by great people, and right now we're hiring them fast. You'll partner with our founding recruiter and the founders to find, win, and close the people who will shape what Flai becomes across sales, customer success, marketing, and operations. This isn't your typical tech recruiting seat. Some of our best hires come straight out of dealerships and dealer-tech, so posting a job and waiting won't find them. Tracking them down takes creativity, and bringing them over takes real selling. If you love the chase, want your fingerprints on a recruiting function from the early days, and get a rush from watching your hires win, this is your seat.Who You AreYou Love the Hunt: The candidate nobody else found is the one you want. You Can Sell: You tell the Flai story in a way that gets busy people to pick up the phone, and you know how to close. You've Got a Great Eye: You spot talent fast and give hiring managers honest, useful feedback. You Keep a Lot of Plates Spinning: Multiple searches, lots of candidates, nothing dropped. You Own It: Every search feels like yours to win.You Love Data: You know your funnel cold and fix what's stuck. You're AI-Native: You let tools handle the busywork so you can spend your time on people. What You'll DoOwn searches end to end: Shape each role with hiring managers and founders, define what great looks like, and drive it from first outreach to signed offer.Find the people others miss: Go beyond LinkedIn with referrals, industry networks, and outreach clever enough to get a reply from someone who wasn't looking.Run sharp screens: Get to the heart of a candidate quickly and give the team a clear call on who moves forward and why.Keep things moving: Run tight interview loops and keep momentum high so we never lose a great candidate to a slow process.Make every candidate a fan: Give people an experience they'll talk about, whether or not they join.Build the machine: Create the playbook as we grow, from interview guides and outreach templates to reporting and automation that lets us scale without losing quality.RequirementsIn-house recruiting experience, ideally at a high-growth software startupA track record of hiring for GTM roles like sales, customer success, marketing, and operationsStrong sourcing and closing skillsTo move as quickly as we do, we work in person in San Francisco 5 days a weekNice to HaveExperience with Ashby or a similar ATSExperience recruiting for automotive, dealer-tech, or field sales rolesExperience as an early recruiter at a startupWhat We OfferCompetitive salary and meaningful equityMedical, dental, and visionFlexible PTOPaid lunch every dayA small, high-caliber team where your work has real impact from day one
