Steinmetz is hiring a hands-on electrical engineer to support product development across our power electronics systems. This is a broad role for someone who can move between schematics, PCB reviews, harnesses, test setups, lab debugging, documentation, vendors, and production support. Responsibilities: Run complex power electronics simulations. Perform parasitic PCB extraction. Design and bring up production hardware. Design and bring up manufacturing line hardware. Debug real hardware problems: EMI, grounding, thermal issues, manufacturing defects, and adjacent issues. Must-haves: Ability to learn on the spot. Resilience through difficult hardware bring-up. Moderate experience designing electronics. Sound engineering judgment and curiosity.
