Operations Manager

About the roleHuman Archive runs large-scale field deployments to collect egocentric robotics data.We are hiring a Field Operations Manager to own the day-to-day execution of these deployments. You will coordinate field teams, hardware, transportation, schedules, and deployment locations to make sure every operation starts on time and hits its daily targets.This is a highly hands-on role for someone who is organised, resourceful, and comfortable solving problems in real time.What you will doPlan and manage daily field deploymentsCoordinate field teams, team leads, vehicles, hardware, and deployment locationsCreate daily schedules and assign people across projectsEnsure teams receive the right equipment and reach locations on timeTrack attendance, deployment progress, productivity, and daily targetsCoordinate with inventory teams for hardware dispatches and returnsHandle transport, accommodation, vendor, and other logistical requirementsResolve last-minute issues such as absences, delays, hardware failures, or location changesMaintain clear daily reports and operational dashboardsImprove processes to make deployments faster, more reliable, and more efficientHelp launch operations in new locations and citiesHire, train, and manage field coordinators and team leads as the operation scalesWho we are looking forStrong experience in field operations, logistics, workforce management, or last-mile operationsExcellent at coordinating large numbers of people and moving partsHighly organised and detail-orientedComfortable working with targets, dashboards, and daily performance metricsStrong communication and people-management skillsCalm and decisive when things go wrongWilling to be on the ground and take full ownership of executionHigh agency, urgency, and willingness to do whatever is required to get the deployment completedExperience at companies such as Blinkit, Zepto, Swiggy, Urban Company, Delhivery, Porter, Amazon, Flipkart, or similar operations-heavy businesses is a strong advantage.This is not a strategy-only role. You will be expected to be closely involved in daily execution and field problem-solving.
