Quality & Safety Coordinator | Nox Metals | Detroit, MINox Metals is a technology company in Detroit supplying metal. We use software and automation to supply metal to American factories faster than the industry thought possible.Shift Hours: Day shift (8AM to 4PM), with flexibility to cover second and weekend shifts as needed.You will:Own our safety program. Training, PPE, hazard control, and OSHA record-keepingInvestigate incidents and near misses, find the real root cause, and close the loopWalk the floor daily and stop work when something is not rightOwn material quality from receiving to shipping, including certification and traceabilityWrite the SOPs people actually use and keep them currentPrepare for and run customer and third-party auditsYou are:Safety-obsessedTrained in OSHA general industry standards, OSHA 30 preferredFamiliar with quality management systems, ISO 9001 or AS9100Organized and documents stuff, high attention to detialComfortable building the program instead of inheriting oneNice to have:Experience in manufacturing or warehousingInternal auditor training, ISO 9001 or AS9100AI proficiencyThe role is full time, in person in Detroit.
